Students of Orbis School visit the historical Shaniwarwada

ST CORRESPONDENT

Pune: The students from Class V of The Orbis School, Mundhwa, visited the historical site, Shaniwarwada built by the Peshwas in the 18th century. It was mesmerising to see the architectural design of Shaniwarwada. The palace includes fountains, Ganesh Mahal, Rang Mahal, Aarsa (Mirror) Mahal, Diwan Khana, Hasti Dant (Elephant Tusk), gardens, courtyards and substantial residential areas. It is undoubtedly one of the best edifices in Maharashtra and it is our duty to preserve it and the glorious past of our country. It was altogether a memorable learning experience for the students.
